Buy recipe books during exploration
The official game description connects recipe books to exploration in Paris. Its districts have activities and shops, with books providing additional recipes. This is a documented unlock route rather than an assumption based on the appearance of a pastry in a trailer.
Do not turn one route into every route
The source material establishes that recipe books can add recipes. It does not provide an individually verified unlock condition for every recipe. This guide consequently does not state that every recipe must be purchased or assign named pastries to particular friendship levels.
Unlocking and cooking are different checks
Corroborated achievement requirements separately refer to unlocking every recipe and preparing every recipe. A third objective concerns reaching maximum recipe levels. Treat those as distinct completion checks instead of using the word unlocked for all three stages.
What a recipe card tells you
A recipe card describes preparation after a recipe is available. The confirmed baguette image records ingredients and an ordered cooking sequence, but it does not establish that recipe's exact acquisition condition. The separate recipes page discusses the card without claiming that its visible quantities explain how every recipe unlocks.
Keep the physical cookbook separate
The boxed edition's official digital cookbook is a real-world product extra. It is not the same thing as buying recipe books during Paris exploration. Its inclusion with a physical copy therefore does not establish an in-game shortcut to every recipe.
