The current release schedule
Digital and physical editions have different announced dates. The digital schedule is October 14, 2026, while boxed products follow on October 16. Keeping those dates beside their formats avoids turning one launch announcement into the wrong answer for a physical buyer.
| Format | Announced release |
|---|---|
| Digital | October 14, 2026 |
| Physical | October 16, 2026 |
Why older dates still appear
Earlier promotional material announced August 20. The developer's date-correction announcement moved the release to October, superseding that earlier schedule. An old trailer can still show genuine game footage while displaying a release date that is no longer current.
A scheduled date and store access
The research captured a Steam countdown even though the scheduled calendar date was October 14. A matching date alone therefore does not demonstrate that every region or storefront has unlocked. Use the store for your own platform to check actual purchasing and launch availability.
Separate console editions
Nintendo Switch and the native Nintendo Switch 2 edition have their own product pages. The platform-specific date guides retain the same digital-versus-boxed distinction. The native Switch 2 boxed product is also identified separately as a Game-Key Card in the collected physical-edition information.
Physical purchases need format context
The collected distribution material covers PS5, original Switch and Switch 2 boxed editions. Its October 16 schedule is a product release date rather than a guarantee of a parcel arriving at one particular time. Retail stock, delivery arrangements and the relevant regional checkout remain separate purchase details.
